TOUR OVERVIEW
Places to visit :
Leh town, magnetic field, confluence of Indus and Zanskar, Likir Monastory, Hall of fame, Gurudwara pather sahib, Tikshey Monastory, Shey palace,Pangong lake, Nubra Valley, Khardung-la Pass, Chang-la Pass, Hemis monastery.

Accommodation on twin sharing basis.Breakfast, Dinner and transportation as per programme. Excluding air fare, Permit and entrance fee extra.
The Schedule
Day 1
Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Complete rest is recommended during the day for acclimatisation to avoid high altitude sickness. Drink plenty of water/tea/coffee, and not to exert. Walk to Shanti Stupa in the evening. Opportunities for over view/sunset pics of Leh. We will do the Wide Field Astrophotography and Time-Lapse Astrophotography after dinner. (Dinner will be provided). Over-night stay at Leh.
Day 2
After breakfast, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, (beautiful view to capture from the hilltop in front of Gurudwara) Magnetic Hill, which defy the law of gravity. Visit the confluence of Zanskar and Indus river (The two rivers have different color water, the view is breath-taking). In the afternoon, visit to Likir monastery, Alchi monastery (The artistic and spiritual details of both Buddhism and the Hindu kings of that time in Kashmir are reflected in the wall paintings in the monastery. These are some of the oldest surviving paintings in Ladakh. The complex also has huge statues of the Buddha and elaborate wood carvings and art-work) and hall of fame. Visit Leh market in the evening. Walk from Leh market to Hotel. Over-night stay at Leh.Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 3
After early breakfast, proceed for Hunder (Nubra Valley) via Khardung-la (18360 ft.) which is one of the world's highest motor-able roads. En route visit DISKET Monastery and the large Budha statue. Hunder is famous for the Bactrian camels and Sand dunes. Visit to sand dunes in the evening. Stay at Hunder. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 4
After early breakfast, proceed for Turtuk Village. Turtuk is one of the northernmost villages in India is on the banks of the Shyok River. It is the only Balti region village under the Indian administration. It was under Pakistan's control until 1971, after which India gained control over this strategic area. Geographically, Turtuk lies in the Baltistan Region. Turtuk is the last outpost of India after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is known for its varieties of fruits especially apricots.Back to Hunder in the evening. Stay at Hunder. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 5
After early breakfast, proceed for Pangong Lake. The landscapes on way are breath-taking. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 14500 ft. The colour of the lake water change with the angle of light/Sun. Enjoy the lake. In afternoon, proceed for Leh (155 Kms). One may come across the Marmots/ Kayangs/ Himlayan Fox on way. En route visit Chang-la Pass, 17350 ft. Arrival Leh in the evening. Evening free.Dinner and over-night stay at Leh. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 6
After breakfast, visit to Shey Palace, Tikshey and Hemis Monastery. Afternoon free.Stay at Leh. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 7
Day free at Leh. Breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Day 8
After breakfast drop at Airport. Tour terminates.
